All our iris photography sessions feature a precise capture of your unique iris, delivered with two stunning high-resolution digital images per person - one true-to-life original and one customized special effect version of your choice.
ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
The entire process takes about 10 minutes per person
Wherever possible, we'll capture detailed images of both irises - you'll be surprised at just how uniquely different they are!
Our expert editing team carefully reviews every image to guarantee exceptional quality. Using state-of-the-art tools, we enhance the vibrant colours, intricate patterns, and overall sharpness of your iris images
Once your final images are complete (typically within 24 hours), you'll receive access to your personal watermarked online gallery
There, you can choose your favourite iris image, select the special effect you'd like applied, and purchase extra digital downloads, additional special effects, and beautiful printed wall art products

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the process?
Our photographer uses a high-resolution camera with a macro lens and professional lighting to capture extreme close-up images of your iris.
You look straight ahead into the lens while keeping your eye open wide and head still (a comfortable chin and forehead rest is provided for support).
The capture itself takes only a few seconds to a few minutes per eye. We take multiple shots at different lighting angles to achieve the best detail and depth. To maximize the visible iris area, we may briefly use a controlled light to gently constrict the pupil - this is a standard technique in iris macro photography and completely safe.
Can anyone have their irises photographed?
If you are sensitive to bright lights or have light-triggered conditions (such as migraines or photosensitive epilepsy), we strongly recommend against it
Is the process safe for my eyes?
Yes - it's completely safe, non-invasive, and painless. It involves only photography with professional soft lighting (no lasers, lights that harm eyes, or physical contact).
Is there an age limit?
Generally 5 years and older. Children (and adults) need to sit still, look straight ahead, and hold their eyes open wide without blinking excessively for short periods. Younger children may participate if they can comfortably follow these instructions
Can I wear my contact lenses?
We recommend removing contact lenses before the session. Contacts can add a blue tint, alter your natural eye colour, or obscure fine iris details, which may affect image accuracy and quality
How do I book an appointment?
Once you've purchased your Iris Photography Experience, you'll receive your digital voucher by email which will include instructions on how to book online. Feel free to call us on 020 3897 4620 if you'd prefer to book over the phone. All bookings are subject to a £10 per person refundable booking deposit
I've been offered a complimentary Iris photo shoot - what is included?
Your complimentary Iris photo shoot includes the capture of extreme close-up images of your iris. You will have the option to purchase digital downloads, special effects, and beautiful printed wall art products. Complimentary shoots are subject to a £25 per person refundable booking deposit
